•Calcium Based Lubricants-
Calcium lubricants neither have a high temperature tolerance nor can handle intense pressures. Although they are still used due to their water resistivity. Calcium based lubricants are water resistant and used in places which do not demand frequent lubrications but must be resistant to water, most likely to be used within the chassis of machines.
• Automotive Grease-
Grease is another form of lubricant. It is used in places where lubricating oil fails to work. Grease is a semi-solid and has special lubricating properties. Grease has a viscous index and is suitable for places where seepage might be an issue. Grease is also a special type of lubricant which has different viscosities at different pressures. It is also known as a plastic fluid or pseudo-plastic fluid.
